Cyndi Lauper bids us adieu in a once-in-a-lifetime encore performance. This summer, Los Angeles presents her "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" Farewell Tour's show-stopping finale! Its final leg, which announced 25 stops across North America with special guest Jake Wesley Rogers, concludes in two emotional send-offs at the Hollywood Bowl, premiering on Friday, August 29, 2025. The production bills itself as Cyndi's last major concert series. Underway since Fall 2024, it marks her first all-arena run in four decades and celebrates the American pop music icon through the records that defined genres and generations long after they debuted on top of the Billboard charts.
"For me, I wanted to have a chance to do this when I'm feeling strong. I want to celebrate with people. Really celebrate with people, and make it fun."
Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award winner Cyndi Lauper is, without an inkling of doubt, one of the greatest stars to ever shine in the limelight. With her glamorous punk rebel image and a powerful four-octave voice, Cyndi stunned the world when she issued the groundbreaking studio album She's So Unusual in 1983, claiming two wins at the Annual Grammy Awards. From this chapter onward, the living legend will recount her unprecedented career era by era as she performs the seminal hits and classics you've all come to treasure and adore. As with previous dates, the concert's set will likely span 16 of her most beloved songs, which include US Top Five singles "She Bop," "I Drove All Night," and her signature "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," with Billboard number-ones "True Colors" and "Time After Time." Cyndi Lauper is a one-woman spectacle famed for her charming kookiness, flamboyant taste in fashion, and contagiously energetic shows. To match her off-the-wall intensity, she recruits pop musician Jake Wesley Rogers, who offers soaring Elton John-influenced melodies fans swear by on his hit songs "Pluto" and "I'll Stand By You."
